I buy hearos and you can get a whole box of 100 pairs for $19. This is what I use https://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Softnes ... 85fb77bc58

I found solar energy wrist watchs that only cost 99 cent at Amazon but they don't seem to work properly, if at all, except for the bank account of some Chinese companies...

If it's because of your job, i'd try good noise protection headphones which are reusable!

I recommend Howard Leight Laser Lite Earplugs. With proper technique, they seal my ears easily, quickly. They don't irritate me usually, except if I sleep with them in over night (can be a bit sore in the morning). They are soft. I have used them for motorcycling, operating loud machinery, concerts. But I imagine there are other nice products out there--these were what I settled on about 15 years ago, and I have no complaints.

That box of 100 looks just like (and works just like) what I buy for like $2 per pair in a small plastic box that's fancy to put in your pocket to keep them clean. If you add costs for packaging, transport, storage, shop owner's margin, I would not be surprised that a shop can not sell one single pair with fancy packaging for less than what you found.vercitti wrote: Wed Sep 09, 2020 2:00 am 100 pairs ? why ? every pair can be used one time or what ?
Yes, it works like it says on the box: can reduce sound level with about 30dB. But you have to insert them properly. If they don't sit well in your ears, then they leak sound and don't work.
You can surely reuse them. But after a couple of times it becomes gross with all the earwax 'n dirt. And for that price you throw them away. If you are in loud environment often, you need them often.
