Anyone know of a good XV-5080 SF2 Sample Library?

Roland is known for its trigger happy legal department, issueing cease&desist letters to anyone breaching their copyright. Which is their good right. But it might explain why you have troubles finding libraries labeled as sampled from a XV-n080 or JV-n080, those models are for 90% the same samples.
Roland has a cloud thing you can look in to. Or buy such a rompler beast second hand, quite affordable and totally worth it for such an instrument. Or rent one for a day and sample the patch you need. Yes, that is legal as long as you don't sell it off in a library.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Gotcha! I'd like to get the xv5080 but don't have the rack space really. The plugin may be more suiting but I heard the Roland plugins were cpu hogs.

Some are more resource-hungry than others, and the initial versions of the "Anthology" series were rather piggish, but the latest versions weren't too bad on my aging system. I could run a couple of instances each of D-50, ProMars, Jupiter-8, Juno-106 and XV-5080 in one project. If you haven't tried them in a while (or if you've never tried them), you might be pleasantly surprised at how much work Roland has done on them.djmino02 wrote: Tue Sep 15, 2020 9:34 am Gotcha! I read online that the 5080 plugin doesn't have a Multi-Partial sample capabilities like the 5080 hardware and S-7x Series samplers used.
I'm not familiar with Multi-Partial sample capabilities. Is that like granular wavetable synthesis or like a keymap on Kurzweil?
