Studio One v5 -Impact XT - Question

I have a two bar drum loop I want to load into Impact XT but I can only get it to loop over one bar, which is double speed. I can't figure a way to make it loop over two bars. Does anyone know how to fix it? It's something that I will need going forward, as I often use a loop at half-speed and full speed in the same song.
What I've done so far is turn on "Loop" and "Follow Tempo". I tried playing with the Start and End times but that makes it go faster, not slower. The Edit Sample button is greyed out so I can't do anything there, either.

Hi,
Any reason not to use it directly on the arrangement page where you can make it easily?
Anyway, on the left side inspector under the fader, there is place where it says File Tempo. It probably calculates as half or double speed. So for example if your loop is 120 it might show as 240 or 60.
Changing the File Tempo there and then dragging it to Impact should solve the problem.
Also if you want to have the lowered pitch effect for the slower version(like HW Samplers) it is better to slow it down on the arrange page using the tape algorithm and then drag drop to Impact.

I'd say you have to compress it to one bar and import into Impact XT separately.BONES wrote: Sun Sep 20, 2020 8:08 am I have a two bar drum loop I want to load into Impact XT but I can only get it to loop over one bar, which is double speed. No, since 4.5 it actually can launch loops in time with project's tempo following set launch quantisation. Sort of like Ableton-litechk071 wrote: Sun Sep 20, 2020 5:56 pm Why load it into Impact though? Impact is a drum sampler, not a loop player.
("Quantize" setting as explained here)

Yeah. That's why I expected an actual clip launcher in v5, but we got the damned 'show' page instead

Clip launcher wouldn't have got me interested. Quite the opposite, it would have put me off. Show Page, OTOH, is the reason I checked out Studio one at all.
What else am I going to do with it, copy/repeat it 80 times in an audio channel? That's not a very elegant solution when I can load it into Impact XT and have it appear in the same track as all the other percussion.chk071 wrote: Sun Sep 20, 2020 5:56 pmWhy load it into Impact though? It seems far less elegant to me and it's an extra track to do something very basic.andypryce wrote: Sun Sep 20, 2020 12:36 pmAny reason not to use it directly on the arrangement page where you can make it easily?
I'll give that a go. So far, though I have not so much as looked at the Inspector tab. One of the things I like about S1 over Cubase is that I don't need that open all the time.Anyway, on the left side inspector under the fader, there is place where it says File Tempo.
