best back-up solutions

hey kvr;

what do you think is the best / fastest way to back up your data on these monster 40 gig and up hard drives these days? usb drives? a dvd burner and a slew of discs? and, what do u make of the disk imaging programs and the like that are out there?

One DVD-r/project usually does it for me. I think it's a pretty fast and cheap backup media. I've had no problems with it sofar.

ok, but what about if you want to do a backup of your drive, so that, in case your hard disk fails, you've still got all your vsti's registered, etc...?
