New audio interface (recommendations please)

Hi all,

After more than ten years I bought new PC for music production and wondered that it's impossible to insert my Audiophile 2496 into PCIe into X570 MB (I'm not computer geek so don't be surprised ).

So what interface do you recommend?

Nowadays I don't have any HW synths (pure VST guy) and my Audiophile was connected into Soundcraft Compact 4. Mix is just for Focal monitors and a pair of headphones (Sennhiser and Audio-Technica for comparison). So no guitars, no mics, no midi.

My budget is about $300.

I've bought MOTU m2 recently. I think in this price range it's the best interface (or may be one of the best interfaces) for the moment. Minimum of features (it's not important for me now). Solid drivers. Good sound. Works like a charm. 167 euros.

I'd recommend you to look at it. But I also see other options (Steinberg, Presonus, Audient). Not a fan of Focusrite but their interfaces are also good.
