Mix and match the players, living or dead (but not fictional), soloists or members of a group. You can even pick an era (ie: young Elvis).
What's your dream band lineup?

drums: Don Henley
keyboards: Keiko Matsui
vocals: Natalie Merchant
bass: I can't even think of someone famous for their bass playing, just bass players that got famous for something else

Vocals: Johnn Balance, Robert Wyatt or Elizabeth Frazer, can't make up my mind (or maybe just the lot of them).
Guitars: Thurston Moore, Steve Albini and/or Kevin Shields.
Bass: Karl Blake or Tom Jenkins (1).
Drums: Charles Hayward.
Percussion: Nort.
Electronic stuff: Chris Carter, Sean Booth, Rob Brown and a magic(k)ally resurrected Oskar Sala (2).
Further credits:
Production: Steve Stapleton. Ha!
Lyrics: Kurt Schwitters and Daniil Charms.
Engineer: Steve Albini. Natch.
Spiritual Guidance: Pan. Or Lao Tze. Or just William Burroughs.
Groet, Erik
(1) or both. That would be spectacular! But maybe not just in a musical way.
(2) with a magic(k)ally resurrected mixtur-trautonium.

I'm still waiting for the long-rumoured and eternally 'we haven't had time yet' David Tibet/Edward Ka-spel collab.
But I'd settle for John Duncan vs. Daniel Menche in the meantime.
Whitehouse and The Hafler Trio is already planned so I don't have to wish for it anymore.

Knew about the ep -didn't know that you were involved.
Will definitely check! I think your sound would go very well with Edwards.

as much as that would please me also
im not working with ed,its a split ep and im just doin a very small part with scot solidas outfit "christus and the cosmonaughts"
i among a few others here are lucky enough to call ourselves cosmonaughts
(altho in my case im still not sure why)but the releases just keep getting bigger and better as scot picks out the people he thinks can add a voice so i guess, the band im a part of
is my dream band
not just because im in there either but because im pivvy to whats going on in the future its a bunch of great musicians
again not really blowing my own trumpet as i actually do very little on this particular track

Vocals: Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle)
Guitar: Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine)
Bass: Ryan Martinie (Mudvayne)
Drums 1: Matthew McDonough (Mudvayne)
Drums 2: Danny Carey (Tool, Pygmy Love Circus)
I'd have two drummers so they could get some freaky idmesque drum patterns going.
