Korg Collection doesn't work on my Mac computers anymore. This happens both in standalone mode and as AU plugins, they just fail to load.

Computers are MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, both running a fully updated Mojave 10.14.6 with the latest Ableton Live Suite 10. All the plugins have been updated with Korg Software Pass, and the computers have been restarted after the installations.

ERROR MESSAGE:
Failed to create the Audio Unit "XX."
This Audio Unit plug-in is not compatible.
Failed to initialize.

This happens with all the Korg plugins, except LegacyCell, which works and is playable.

Does anyone know how I can get the Korg plugins to work again? Thanks in advance for any and all tips!

P.S. I forgot to test the VST plugins before I deleted them from the plugin folder after installation, because I never use them. And regardless I need the AU versions for all my older projects.

did you try a different host? have you by any chance updated live lately?

on my imac the korg plugins run smoothly on mojave/logic.

They work for me and I'm also on Mohave so there must be something else going on

I've come across AU plugins that require the VST version to function because they rely on a VST to AU wrapper - maybe that is the case here?

Work for me in Mojave & Logic as well.

Korg Wavestation AU 725kb
Korg Wavestation VST 36.1 MB

So I think this is one of those cases, the AU needs the VST to function, it's probably just some sort of plugin shell.

And confirmed this by deleting my VST version - then I get the same error message as the OP in Live. Restoring the VST fixes this.
