i started working on a new track and decided i would search through some old dance acapella's and try and work some vocal's into my new track (the new track is structured to work well with vocals - though this wasn't onpurpose!).
I found an "almost" suitable acapella but i need to change the pitch and tempo without it sounding crap. The orginal tempo of the track where the pella' is from is about 130/134bpm (i think).
My track is 140bpm, i've tried using WaveLab to modify it but it keep's sounding like the smurf's even though i'm telling it to ignore the duration...
I've also tried time-stretching, which seemed to work well but the pitch is still off and i need to fix this, but i dont understand how...
Can someone example how todo this?
