Good lord.. The Wavetable module appears to be extremely well-engineered..

Aside from it sounding really excellent, it's also remarkably efficient and well-behaved - A basic grid patch with a Phasor + a bunch of phase-bending modules (i.e. warping), 5 stacked voices of 16 unison, playing at the maximum allowed 128 voices (that's a total of 2048 oscillators!), audio-rate FM of pitch and index - and my AMD 3900X is running at about 30-40% usage, with the load spread perfectly even across all 24 threads!

I am impressed. I think the search for the best wavetable synth ends right here.

The waveform visualisations look like Ableton Wavetable.

Sounds like the new AVX2 audio engine is doing a good job! Agreed this is a fantastic feature and implementation.

Bitwig Studio 3 is the DAW that just gives and gives.

Crazy how Ableton 10 and Logic Pro are still the most popular, where from my angle it's always Bitwig, Studio One, and FL Studio making all the big moves with each update.
SW: Bitwig Studio 3, Studio One 5, Reason 11, Komplete 12
HW: Minilogue XD, TR-8S, 0-Coast, Bassline, Digitone, Digitakt, Jazzmaster
Pedals: Zen Delay, Black Hole Symmetry, Ottobit, Shigeharu, Tremotron, Dweller, Oblivion, Julianna, Rooms, Microcosm

...which looks like Serum's. What's your point?

You must not own Logic then.

This update looks really good. I might even fully make the switch from Reason.

All computer based modulars have that, no way to get around it. Its a physical limitation of computer code. But they could hide it, like in Max/MSP and add the delay automatically...
If they would allow encapsulation, you could minimize it just for the encapsulated part though - for the price of significantly higher CPU...

Unfortunately you can on.y own Logic if you run a Mac, Bitwig runs on Mac, PC and Linux so is cross platform.

Logic 10.5 was an amazing and truly immense update. It took 10-15 minutes just to read through the changelog. It also doesn't count in a way cause Apple can easily put serious development resources into it and year after year not charge for it. Logic's future looks bright.

I'm glad to have both Bitwig and Logic. They each do stuff the other cannot.
