What does real mean? Is there a fake JP6K also?

Of course, the unpaid/hacked version
I'm the proud owner of a paid for version, but would like to see some comparisons.
Would be nice if JP6K had a few added waveforms (regular saw, pulse), a LFO and an arpeggiator.
I'll just keep dreaming and meanwhile wait for a finished Chro 8080

- A lot of space is wasted for fake screws and holes. Why?
- For me this would be the first synth ever to have the filter cutoff and resonance hidden in another tab.
Would like to see the fake screws and holes removed and the basic filter settings on the main page.
That aside, the sound is really nice!

Some remarks about the GUI. Of course you cannot please everyone, but here my 2 cents:

How we've gone this long without a proper 8080/8000 emulation is beyond me, but I'm glad it's happening at last. If it can create leads like these, then count me in. I'd love to see a 1:1 shootout with this video actually...

Why the JP6K only focuses on the super saw is beyond me. Could easily be a more complete plugin in my opinion. I mean, an arpeggiator and an LFO cannot be too difficult, right?skarvika wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 11:15 am How we've gone this long without a proper 8080/8000 emulation is beyond me, but I'm glad it's happening at last. I do find the features to be a bit more on the minimal side. It's a nice sounding synth for sure, but I always felt like I could only work within the parameters of the presets. Since I like tweaking patches to make new sounds, it's a little limiting if you want anything other than what the stock patches provide. But, people have made soundbanks for it, so what do I know?Dark Fiber wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 11:20 amWhy the JP6K only focuses on the super saw is beyond me.
