Restart os a freeware that sits in your system tray and lets you restart your machine to a specific bootable partition. I think it's a great improvement from the way Windows does it, since in Windows (or in most boot managers) you have to restart, then wait until the computer reboots and then chose a partition. With this app, you do it all with just one click and in one step. Check it out.

I tried it for 2 days and it's working fine. I think it just edits the boot.ini file and then restarts.
If you're in doubt make a backup copy of this file just in case.
