Does anyone use this duo? I am having some issues getting everything working...
Setup:
FCB1010 with stock firmware, iPad Pro with TH-U for iOS
MIDI connection has been tried via Bluetooth using an adapter, and USB directly to the iPad
Problem:
The MIDI device shows up in the settings menu correctly, both with Bluetooth and the USB connection. However, the midi pedals just switch between amp presets. When I go to the MIDI menu to “learn” a function, it will change the amp model in the background but not “learn” the function. If I press “learn” and use a pedal, it WILL change the setting. Again, when I click “learn” on either the global or current preset, it will not accept any input whatsoever. But I know it’s inputting information, because I can see the amp change behind the settings menu.
I CAN use this MIDI pedal with TH-U full on windows and Mac and it works just fine when “learning” MIDI input. Just can’t get it to work with iOS.
Does anyone have any advice on where to learn how to fix this?

Hi,
from my quick research, it looks like your controller sends Program Change midi events by default. It looks like TH-U for iOS expects midi Control Change events. You need to either use an editor to change the PC events to CC events (they will also work with Desktop version for Learn function), or use a different FCB1010 firmware, which sends CC events by default.
You can post your question on one of the facebook TH-U users groups - I'm sure there's more people using the same setup.

I have got TH-U and FCB1010 (win 10). I modified the factory settings to use the FCB1010 as a pedalboard and for changing presets. For using this configuration you need a program for sending the syx to the FCB1010 (eg. midi ox or reading the FCB manual). Check the files and the configurations. I hope I have helped you.
