I bought Olympus Choir Elements some time ago for exactly that purpose. It's good, even though, as with most stuff, I haven't really made much use of it.

Search over at VI-Control. There are many threads there with extensive discussions about choral libraries.
Last year, I got a collection of Soundiron choirs on sale. They are good enough for what I do.

Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Right now there's a massive sale (because the libraries get discontinued) of Virharmonic's choirs (and the Solist library), including a (relatively easy to use) word builder. For UVI Workstation (free) / Falcon.

Thanks for mentioning this, first time I've heard of it. I agree with the BPB notion that it's got the 80/20 rule right. It's also not insanely large; 2.5 GB installed, and it doesn't require the full Kontakt (as another library does), just the free Kontakt Player.chk071 wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2020 7:15 pm I bought Olympus Choir Elements some time ago for exactly that purpose. Note that it has only vowels, so no "Dominus Deus" scary movie phrases.
Currently on sale for 69 euros (down from 99).

Well, if you imagine such a phrase sung whilst the choir members were brushing their teeth, then the Olympus LE version would suffice (O-I-O-E-O).chk071 wrote: Tue Nov 17, 2020 1:42 pmHehe, I like those.SparkySpark wrote: Tue Nov 17, 2020 1:36 pm Note that it has only vowels, so no "Dominus Deus" scary movie phrases.![]()

...but then again, picturing that in your mind would take the scariness out of it, I guess.

Btw. if you have Live, Soundiron's Olympus Elements as a Live pack is on sale too, for 63 EUR.chk071 wrote: Tue Nov 17, 2020 1:42 pmHehe, I like those.SparkySpark wrote: Tue Nov 17, 2020 1:36 pm Note that it has only vowels, so no "Dominus Deus" scary movie phrases.![]()

But buy the Virharmonic Voices of Prague Choir for 89 EUR (you won't get more choir for your money). You get the word builder, so you can actually let them sing 'real' words.

I bought the virharmonic choir bundle (Voices of Prague, Boys Choir, and Soloists) a couple weeks ago for $100 when they were being discontinued -- an absolute steal they're incredible and have a timeless sound.
Have you tried Vital?

Sounds like quite a bargain right there. I'll research that and check them out. Enjoy!Psuper wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 4:23 pm I bought the virharmonic choir bundle (Voices of Prague, Boys Choir, and Soloists) a couple weeks ago for $100 when they were being discontinued -- an absolute steal they're incredible and have a timeless sound.
