Yup, like Vengeful Bass or Cello, you get lots of articulations, including some aggressive and harsh stuff. But there are also "regular" shorts and longs, and even phat sustains for when you want some more typical viola warmth.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. And if you really want adventure, one of the beta testers figured something out a few days ago: load the all techniques instrument and send LFOs to the articulation selection CCs. Sample and hold LFOs, if you want complete randomization.

I've been hoping quite a while that a Vengeful Viola would appear! In my experience using them, Vengeful Bass and Vengeful Cello allow quite realistic string player-like expressiveness. Also, with them, a large palette of articulation colour, plus a lot of effects become easily attainable, so the Vengeful series can be put to good use both for regular string music, as well as for the wildest ultra modern creations. That being said, now what we need is a Vengeful Violin!

Sure, violin will definitely be logical at some point! I wanted to do viola first, though, so that I'll be able to learn a few more things about making weird sounds with the smaller strings (being a bassist myself), digest that for a while, and then apply it to violin.
