Hey all,

This is the 2nd demo of my new dance composition Océano de pasión. I wanted to make a disco song but I guess this is what I could manage (I love using melodies too much). Please have a listen and tell me what you think. I would really appreciate some feedback on it. Thanks.

From what I remember from the 70s, Disco and strong melodies went together quite frequently?

Enjoyed it...
Main groove is strong - subtle drive to it and in general the sounds work well together.

OPINION: I think the layers that make up the main groove do somewhat 'dominate' the mix...leaving little room for anything else...needs individual sound-sculpting with EQ + some work on stereo spread and depth from front to back of the mix for me.

Melodically - yes, I can hear snippets in there, but actually think it needs a more hooky, dominant lead tune...soaring over everything else maybe?
