My old landlord(and friend)from many years back,Marv Dahlgren,turns 80 today.
And,to celebrate the event,he's playing at the Artists Quarter tonight.
Marv(for those of you who don't know him)was the principal percussionist
of the Minnesota Orchestra for years and a world renowned jazz drummer/vibist/
instructor.If you want an evening of good music,the AQ's where to go tonight.
Unfortunately,I can't make it(I just found out about it this morning),so if you go,
wish him a happy birthday from me...
