Is Uli responsible for Behringer's product design?

Just wondering, because I always thought that the different departments actually have their people for that. Actually, it's what Chinese companies always did (more or less) well: Copying reference designs.

What they did to Auratone and how they sneakily took the Oberheim trademark was enough to turn me off them for good. They may be skirting the lines of legality but it's really slimy behaviour. No class whatsoever, gutter mentality.

Behringer's response here:

Sounds like a money grabbing psychopath to be honest. He tried to sue Dave Smith in 2017 but luckily there was a good judge who ruled that the whole case was a SLAPP. Behringer seems to be using as similar tactic here, but in reverse. No doubt Behringer did a cost benefit analysis that included Arturia's ability and will to take Behringer to court as against the cost of developing a new midi keyboard (totally pointless by the way). Maybe he has a grudge against Arturia for some reason, that's how psychopaths are :P

Here then directly by Uli in the facebook link. I changed above post to 'Behringer', replacing 'Uli'

Pretty much the same as the above link. I find it slightly odd people asking whether the head of the company had anything to do with any of this given his past history and indeed, the above links.

anyone who delivers value for money, has my money.

if the price & quality is (more or less) the same, by all means be precious and make your emotional attachment to one brand or another.

besides, it's not like Arturia is the brand you think of when someone says 'innovation'.
