I've searched and I've not found any "up to date" post about this question.
My setup is the following:
- Scarlett 1st gen 18i8
- ZED16FX
I want to replace my Scarlett audio interface as I'm having many issues lately with flickings and the buffer setup.
I work 90% of the time recording some short samples separately from my synths/drummachines using the ZED16FX (it was a gift and has plenty of inputs
), and after that processing them in my DAW.Which Audio interface would you recommend for me?
I've thought about the Babyface Pro FS but I have the feeling that it is "too much" or at least not the best option for my way of working. I'm not planning to do mastering works, just producing music. I use Windows 10, and the connection (USB, Firewire or whatever) would not impede me, as far as I know.
What do you think? There is any other better option for how I work? Maybe something to change/recommend about how I work recording the sounds over the ZED16FX? As I said, I just use it because it was a gift and it has plenty of inputs.
My budget goes till 1k€.
