A plugin with very unique and strong vintage character that will bend your track in a dramatic way, with deep, warm bass and grainy highs to firmly sculpt your sound.
Low/high shelves plus a Mid band semi-parametric equaliser based on an original vintage tube circuit from the middle of last century.
The Mid has been custom-extended by London Acoustics from one band to 13 bands in order to achieve a wider range of action and more flexibility. Its magical preamp has been sampled in the original “barn find” state, and in nine different stages of repetitive sampling. The sampled unit is extremely rare and its model still unknown, dated between 1955 – 1959, and all we know is that it comes from a British company that was a pioneering industry that made the history of the radio, amplifiers, effects, etc. founded in 1924.

VERONA VINTAGE TUBE CONSOLE is a great sounding summing-plugin that features lots of tube-vibe harmonics. With its simple and effective controls, useful treble and bass frequencies and a well selected set of mid bands, it can make your tracks sound fantastic in seconds, with that typical and instant gratification of the ’50s/’60s masterpieces.

(*) these EQ band-gains also dynamically change the equalizer harmonics independently from the TUBE SAT knob.

Changelog:

- High-shelf band is now with a different gain-curve scale, more gentle in the first 3/4

- Calibration multicolor-LED added to the input stage

- Under request, the output LED behaves now as VU meter to show realtime the 0dB peaks only

- The preamp saturation range has been expanded to +/- 24dB, now there is enough headroom to easily calibrate your input to the ideal sweetspot

- New UI numbers, more precise and more points

- Minor internal bugs fixed

WARNING: this relase is compatible with the old saved projects but due the change of gain-curve scale can sound slightly different. Please be aware of this while updating.

The manual has been updated to explain the new IN LED feature.

Excerpt:
"The plugin’s sweetspot resides aproximately in the region of -24 and -12dBFS.
This calibration LED will help setting the tube saturation at its optimal input level.
• Mainly Grey light: under-calibrated level with, already working but quite clean THD
• Mainly Green light: optimal level, with the “factory” sweetest THD
• Mainly Red light: over-calibrated level, with subtle distortion.
Please, if the PRE SATURATION knob, in all its action range, cannot reach intermittent peaks of green, insert a gain plugin before Verona in order to reach a better margin of action.
It’s ok to overdo a little, having short-intermittent red-peaks, according with personal taste, just try to avoid the full end-scale constant red light in order to keep a reasonable signal-integrity."
