Adding Mouse-click commands in Cubase 11

Up until Cubase 10.5, I always double clicked to return to the project start. Cubase 11 doesn't seem to respond to this. I've looked all through preferences, etc., but can't find anything other than how to add a keystroke command. Nothing for mouse-clicks. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Also, separate issue:
Cubase 11 apparently only allows me to edit MIDI track information without allowing playback from other tracks. Very awkward because you can't hear what you're doing in context. This happens whether I'm editing below the tracks, or in a full edit window. Suggestions?
Thanks as always, and Happy Holidays!
Cheers

Someone raised this issue on the Steinberg forum. Steinberg acknowledged it and said the new behavior was intentional, and that they will revert back to the 10.5 behavior in an update to 11.BERFAB wrote: Tue Dec 22, 2020 9:21 pm Up until Cubase 10.5, I always double clicked to return to the project start. It was driving me crazy.
Is the editing thing also intentional?

You can for example set "locate when clicked in empty space" and that will get the playhead wherever you want - with one click! - as long as one of the tracks has empty space there to be clicked on:
Regarding you not hearing other stuff when editing in key editor, you probably enabled "solo editor" in there - it's the first icon in top-left of the key editor:

Thank you for the EDIT tip. I knew it had to be something simple that I overlooked.
Regarding the mouse-click: In prior versions of Cubase, 2 clicks (on the "stop" button) returned you to the project start. 1 click returned you to your last project position. Very, very handy if you're working on a section and need to get your bearings.
After all these years, it's practically muscle memory with me. Yes, the keystrokes are convenient, but I work so much with a mouse that going back and forth really slows down the flow.
I know you can still re-locate with one click, but if you're half-way down a project and need to get back to the start, you have to scroll first to get there. Or hit "1" on the keyboard which, given the current options, is now the easiest way out.

I am curious to know what mouse you have?
I know for sure C11 killed some of the functionality of my mouse (Microsoft Intellimouse optical) which worked fine up to C 10.5 on mac and still works fine on Nuendo 11 (cubase 11'st equivalent) on PC. But I was told it was the driver of the Mouse and well the rest I can't say
....... needless to say I just bought three logitech M570's mouse just to solve that, and retired my microsoft mice after probably close to 15+ years of using them (I bought them in bulk over the years and as one went bad I replaced it with another. (the mouse was literally the only microsoft product I have ever truly loved and had them for decades).
Can someone kindly link the post in their forum where they said Berfab's issue will be fixed please?

Mine's just a run of the mill USB connected mouse. Probably stole it from the bin at my office sometime in the early 2000's. No special features. Left/right click and a wheel. Plug 'n play.zvenx wrote: Thu Dec 24, 2020 1:49 am I am curious to know what mouse you have?
