Looking for something like kHs Multipass, UA's Triad or Waves' StudioRack, but one that can host 3rd party plugins.

Not really happy with what I've found so far, so I'd welcome recommendations:
- MUX - probably the most likely candidate right now
- Blue Cat Audio's Patchwork - kinda Ok, I guess
- Kushview Elements - way too many things there I'm not interested in
- DDMF Metaplugin - ugh

Blue Cat Audio MB-7 could be what you're looking for. Similar to Patchwork with multiband option. What i dislike with the Blue Cat hosts is that you need to select the plugins from the plugin folder.

Thanks, although - like Kushview Element - this seems to be overkill for what I need, especially since it comes with a price tag that reflects the feature-set.

Yeah, MB-7 is the only product I can think of that best meets the OP's requirements.

I would go with MUX all the way... besides being able to deliver what you are looking for it´s a monster of a plugin in regards of spectral timestretching, all the modulation possibilities and one of the best sound engines I ever met!!
On top of that you´ve got access to one of the most helpful developer in existance... bugs are mostly fixed in a day sometimes even in hours and he really takes care about user feature requests... very very good support!

MUX is just an awesome Tool to have in your Arsenal!

Another option is a band splitting tool such as HoRNet 3XOver and use the routing within your DAW to separately treat the different bands in seperate tracks or busses.

Good multiband plugin host?
