Anyone know if there's anything out there that can do this?
Wanna have a Mac laptop running a sequencer and outputing 32+ midi channels to a rackmount Pc as the soundsource. Thing is, I don't want to have to have 2 midi interfaces. I thought I remember hearing about something that could pipe midi and audio via Lan connection.
Mac to Pc midi connection via Lan or Firewire?

well, if anyone's interested I found this
Sounds promising. But not much info on their site about the Mac side of things and it doen't look like their developers reply to questions on their forums.

It WORKS!
Pretty sweet. Now can do sequencing on a Mac and pipe 16 ports worth of midi to a PC housing a rack of VSTi's in Energy using just a single crossover cable. No midi interfaces required.
Totally cool.
