I was thinking of syncing Logic to Cubase through midi clock/SPP. This seemed to work until I discovered that Logic only seems to sync to tempo and start/stop, not the actual song position. Only when I restart Cubase, Logic will refresh its position. If I set up a loop in Cubase, Logic will not follow that loop, but instead it just keeps on going forward until I stop and start again, then it falls back into line.
Anyone know anything of this problem? Am I doing anything wrong? What setup should I be using? Currently, I am just using Auto enable external sync so Logic discovers incoming midi clock signals automatically.
Thanks!

PURE guessing here, but try MTC instead. I believe that should give song position. It's something I've never needed to look into, so forgive me if it's wrong.
