Hi everyone... I bought the Swingerland Drum kit four or five years ago and have LOVED them. But I migrated Ableton to a new computer system last year, and now I can't get any sound out of any of my Ableton racks that use the Swingerland Kits. I've even tracked down the folder in my User Library where all the samples seem to be living, and when I scan to relink the "missing media" in Ableton, it says "705 New Candidates Were Found" but the rack is still not producing any sounds from where the samples ought to be living once again.

I was wondering first if there was some place on KVR where I could track down my initial purchase and reinstall it all, or if someone had any insights as to what is going on here. Honestly, I've fretted so much and wasted so much time trying to figure this out that if I had to re-purchase the Kit all over again it would have probably been the smartest move a long time ago. But I would rather save the money and put it towards another KVR Kit, because they really are awesome. :)

Thanks for indulging this long-winded explanation, and I look forward to your responses!

Cheers,

Did you follow all the instructions in the manual? https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic ... edia-files

Have you added the folder containing your samples to the Places menu in the browser?

Who makes this kit? Is it specifically for Ableton, or individual samples or what?

Do you still have access to the original computer?
