NI Driver - Why isn't there more fuss about it?

Seriously. It sounds really nice and the CPU is pretty low as far as I could see. Still have to wrap my head around it a bit (don't quite get why resonance boosts the distortion e.g.), but, I really like the plugin. I usually use Dirt for my saturation/distortion needs, but, I think Driver is my new go-to, because it uses much less CPU.

What's your opinion about it?

I have it and rarely used it, mostly because like you I found the interface a bit confusing and not so easy to dial in the sounds i wanted. It’s probably great for total mayhem, but as I don’t have the need for that too often, it’s not my go to. A mix knob would be useful...

True. Although I guess you always could use it as a send effect?

I keep my Nocturn around just to control Driver, since I can't access its sidechain input from inside Kore.
