The Lindell 50 Series captures the tight and powerful sound API consoles, preamps, and EQs are known for. Implemented with patented Tolerance Modelling Technology* (TMT), you can now access the most convincing model of these classic consoles ever, including the slight channel-to-channel variances in the values of their analog components.

The Lindell 50 Series does more than just model a single console. It provides you with an array of choices in the dynamics and EQ sections, allowing you to swap in your favorite style of these classic 500-series modules. Use them on busses or individual tracks.

* Brainworx Audio's Tolerance Modeling Technology (TMT) is protected under the following patent: US Patent No. 10,725,727

On sale right now for $299  :dog:

I'll wait until it's 10th of that (or 5th, at least).

BTW, seems they've finally been awarded the patent for TMT, as it's not "pending" anymore

How they hell did they get that patent - I had a very quick read of it and I'll quote the abstract:
A digital emulation of an analog device with tolerance modeling is disclosed. In operation, a model of an analog circuit is provided. The model includes the location of each individual element in the analog circuit. The model also includes a working value for each individual element as well as a tolerance range for each individual element. A randomized working value is then generated for one or more of each individual element based on the tolerance range and the working value. A digital emulation of the analog circuit is performed. The digital emulation uses the randomized working value for one or more of the each individual element and the working value for any remaining of each individual element. The digital emulation is then provided to a user for use in a digital environment.
In other words, they model an analog circuit, and for each component they apply a random variation. Then they bake that in to a digital emulation. Ta-daaaa... TMT.

So if any other dev models an analog circuit, applies random variations to the components and allows the user to select which random variation they want (ie the channel), they can be sued for infringement. That's madness.

Just compared to my Waves API eq's. Nothing extra for the price for me. Maybe when it's 29 $ I'll get it. Love Lindell stuff though. 80 series is outstanding

seems like a waste of money

Supposedly models 3 eqs (A, B and the graphic) and 2 compressors, so I imagine this will be high on peoples Black Friday list, it's on mine.
If it's less than $100 in a future sale, I'd get it (after applying my $50 voucher).

A statement like this needs to be a bit more specific...

Instead of waiting a year for the price to go down this actually makes me want to buy the Mix Masters Bundle subscription tbh.

Saw the price and deleted the email. :)

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

I was never a fan of subscriptions but there were so many plugins I wanted to explore beyond the 14 day trial that I bit the bullet and went with the Mix & Master subscription. Little by little, I buy the ones I really like at a discount with vouchers. Eventually, I may dump the subscription if I feel it offers less of a return with new and improved plugins, but I'm not there yet. Looking forward to downloading the Lindell 50 channel strip. His 80s is a thing of beauty!!

Potentially - if the company in question resides in the USA, that is... but I wanna see them trying that... dude is already suitably despised without a stunt like this...

As to the plugin itself (the TMT patent is a joke but not Lindell's fault)...I only recently checked out their Neve console and it's much better than the Brainworx consoles IMO. In fact, it's the best of the bunch in the PA lineup for my money. I'll check this out for $29 whenever it hits that price.
