Plus it plugs into the guitar without hangin down from a cable.
Fender recently released their 'Tone' Mustang GTX editor app for computers,
I really hope Fender didn't drop the ball on this, but the ad text says the effects
'all but eliminate the need for software control'. Might be a trial balloon,
since they closed their forums long ago. I hope the editor will be supported.
Cheers

I think a femail 1/4" to use a short cable, and this unit at belt like wireless stuff or in pocket would serve better.
Is there an mail-femail extension maybe?
This mail plug will break after some usage, I think. And it restrict tremolo arm movement as well.
On my strat I inverted the jack to be able to pull cable by the plug, and it already restrict tremolo arm a bit.
To sit and play a bit with effects and no firing amps up I use a Tascam GB-10 which offer playalong tracks, recording and many things.
But have Superchamp X2, which probably have similar chip like this unit. Used Fuse software to apply stomp boxes and stuff. But no way I use that instead of my Laney Ironheart, Koch or Marshall Origin. Just Twin emulation for that clean tone competes.

I don’t really understand what’s new here, the mux air has been out for a year, half the price and better spec?

The Nux page does make a very good case for itself. The Fender product using their latest GTX modeling may be calculated to sell
to current Mustang, GT, and GTX owners looking for a portable version. I think when a product's sales have peaked, Fender often leverage what they have with some new things, in a different size and shape. At least their recent firmware can reach back and upgrade GT gear to GTX.
Nux really need to get up into the ad radar skies. Never heard of them. (Or maybe it's ME that needs to gain altitude )

Did some searches, and lot's of Nux pedals, the MG 300 at around $150 is interesting. Sounds good in reviews. Sweetwater/GC not yet a dealer, but Zzounds have them in stock.
