Logic latency (?) with IK etc. plugins

I have a drum part playing on a track in Logic from Geist 2.

If I add an IK Black or White compressor to the track, when I press space bar the first beat of the drums, on the 1, does not sound. Also happens with Ozone 9 Dynamics but not with Ozone 9 Vintage Compressor. All of these plugins work fine in Live 9 when doing the same thing.

What's going on in Logic and any idea how I can solve it?
