Ableton Live – Apps to 'hack' midi controller – ddc/remotify/ preditor – anyone with experience here?

I do not want to dive into Python but have some needs to customize my controller. In my case the Akai APC40 MK2. During my research I found three apps doing something in that vein.

Anybody here with experience regarding one/all of those apps? Thanks
