How can I automatically split the notes of a chord into separate MIDI channels?

I'd like to have a VST plugin (or maybe a piece of hardware) that would take polyphonic MIDI notes from my master keyboard, and split those notes monophonically across multiple MIDI channels. For example, if I play three simultaneous notes on my keyboard, I want those three notes isolated and routed to three different MIDI channels. If I play 10 notes, I'd want them routed to 10 different MIDI channels, etc. Naturally, I would be limited to 16-note polyphony with this idea, but that's fine with me. Basically, I want to convert a single channel of polyphonic MIDI information into multiple channels of monophonic MIDI information.

Does such software or hardware exist?

Also, if there's a better forum to ask this question in, please let me know, or feel free to move it to another forum.

Thanks!

This can probably be done in Cubase, by using its Logical Editor and the macro function.
I'm not proficient enought to know exactly how.
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

Not a vst, but PluginGuru Unify can do that (but I don't know if it can send midi out)
