Tried again for the third time with this. I’m pretty savvy with networking but the only time I can get the GUI to show is if I’m RDP’d in as well. Have wasted way too much time on this, so frustrating. Funny as others seem to have it working fine. Sticking with Reapers ReaMote

Use VNC. RDP is known to be not working with AG.

Oh thanks for the tip, will try

Post

Yep. Vnc works great.

I released the new ver 1.1.1 today. It supports AAX now.

PT users can enjoy AG as well.

Bumping this, because i'm experimenting with AG lately, using it local on Win10 and with Cubase 11.

Version 1.1.1 seems the only one that's useable for me, tried all 3 betas but they fail to work properly. Tried different settings in AG server but no succes.

Even tho 1.1.1 works, i run into many issues tho.
- There's a lot of plug-ins that i cannot load, even tho they are scanned succesfully and in my plug-in list. They simply don't show up in the plug-in selection in the AG plug-in. All my IK plug-ins for example, except Lurssen for some reason.
- Gui's always open at top left corner, and there's no way to have 2 gui's from a chain open at the same time. Moving one plug-in simply hides the other. And plug-in placement is not remembered.
- Some plug-ins load fine in itself, but don't load when there are already other plug-ins in the chain. Loading Standardclip and VUMT for example (while these aren't heavy plug-ins they are useful in a chain) cause severe issues : huge audio drop-outs and Cubase metering going haywire, can even lead to all other tracks with AG going silent.
- When recalling an AG plug-in preset, the plug-ins load, but i often have to close and reopen the AG plug-in to be able to open the loaded gui's.
- It happened a few times already after i restarted my system : When i open a project with AG on it, the daw loads extremely slow and subsequently all AG instances fail to load and/or pass audio.

All in all it seems a promising tool, but so far it doesn't seem very reliable here. I wonder what more i can do to make things more stable, and/or more useable. Any tips welcome.
