The new version of LANDR Sessions (as well as the company's claims about it) seems interesting in that it might well give audio collaborators an advantage over using other online meeting software, such as z**m, because LANDR Sessions' focus is geared more towards specifically sharing audio (hopefully) smoothly and easily.
As such, it could open up a better way to get live feedback from other audio collaborators or coaches online:
https://www.landr.com/en/sessions/
The free 15 min version seems like a good offer, allowing 15 minutes of DAW audio streaming, unlimited video sessions and up to six collaborators.
A Premium membership, which costs £69 a year *, will let you collaborate with up to 17 other users and offers unlimited DAW streaming.
* As of 18th Feb 2021, Sessions is currently on an introductory offer of £39, with the full price moving up to £69 thereafter. (I'm not privy to when LANDR will stop the intro offer).
I'm not overly impressed with the suggestion by LANDR (as per the YT video time of 0:38) to have Google Chrome as the browser - why recommend one browser over another for this software?
But I assume that this can be changed to whichever browser you or I might prefer instead.
Anyway, it could well offer an improved way to share audio and get advice in live feedback from musical collaborators. We will see if it takes off or not...
Cheers
