Mellotron Samples and Sample Sets

Is it possible to edit the factory samples? Can I for example use Audacity to reverse them (I can't find any way to do it in the vst itself)? Are there any homebrew collections out there?

No, it's not possible to edit the samples. They seem to be encrypted:

Reverse only isn't possible either, but there is the Back and Forth loop mode:

If we choose Back and Forth (clicking the two arrows, one pointing to the right, and the other
pointing to the left), the instrument will play the sample from the Start point up to the loop
End point, and then will play the sample backwards up to the loop Start point, then will play
forward up to the loop End point again, and will repeat this cycle until the key is released.

Thanks. I don't think there's anyway to set up the loop to play in reverse. It has to play through first before looping backward afaict

Not the end of the world, this is a lovely synth imo
