Focusrite 18i20 2nd or 3rd gen..?

Hi,
I have the option to get a 2nd cheap, but was wondering is it worth the extra for the 3rd gen ie for longevity, drivers etc.. any real difference in hardware, i think the sampling rate is greater in the 3rd gen, is that worth it?

3rd gen plays better with newer version of Windows and with DAWs than my 2nd did, if Windows is important to you.
