Hi,
I started a project that needs an alto sax solo (or maybe a tenor sax).
I was wondering what is the best sax library out there for kontakt or EWQL Play or any any other sampler? I mean the most real sounding.
I know it has been answered before, but I need to know if there are new libraries that I'm not aware of. The ones I have are not high standard in terms of realness and playability.
Thanks.

Cmusic Production have stuff for Kontakt.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Audio Modeling SWAM saxes gotta be up there. Straight Ahead Samples Tenor Colossus, too, if you just want one sax and don't need the whole family, is the other big recent name, though currently listed as unavailable so no idea what happened there.

WarpIV Music, VSL, SWAM are the three bigs IMO

Also check Chris Hein Horns (maybe even the Compact Version) and NI Session Horns Pro.
