Hi, I was just wondering how long I should play my monitors to loosen them up. I've been playing them very loud for the last 2 days. i heard it helps the woofer and cables. Is this true?

Depends really, some people will say yes, play them for a couple of days. And other people will just laugh.
I would say a couple of days is fine!

Cool, also I noticed on some trance tunes when played loud the bass makes kinda like this rattling sound, but it's very faint. Is that port chuff?

You sure it wasn't your doors or windows rattling?Cool, also I noticed on some trance tunes when played loud the bass makes kinda like this rattling sound, but it's very faint. Is that port chuff?
If your speakers rattle, I'd be worried - very worried.

I don't think my taste in music should be of any concern, i was asking about port chuff. The whole speaker doesn't rattle, its only on some really low bass fequencies like if i boost a kick at 35khz (not that I boost those frequencies, i was testing out, because on some songs the sound isnt there), the woofer kinda makes this purring sound sort of like when u pet a cat.
