go to
Library/Audio/PLugins/components.
Look for the Waveshell-AU.
If you see several of them, trash all but the most recent. In my case I had 6 different wave shells in there. Some were v10, and older versions of 12. I deleted all but the most current waveshell, in my case v 12.7.
Open Logic, let it scan through the plugins, which should be the last time it does that. Once finished you can quite Logic and re-open it without the plug-in scanning.

Just wanted to say "thank you". Seems this resolved my problem. Double checking at my next start of Logic. But it looks good now I guess.

Usually you can run the the Repair and Organise tools in Central to help you deal with issues like this.
