Want to find arpeggiators similar to in the famous bloatware synths without spending 100-1800 pounds on a massive sampler that won't even fit on my harddisk please

There's no standard recipe for that at all, just experiment and go wild, chaining two arps for example, followed by side chained BPM gated pre-delay reverb

Do you mean sidechain as a gate or from the bass drum for track movement

Sidechaining from the kick, this will give solid indication of timing if arps timing interval goes weird or out of sync.

I read that some trance producers use sidechaining from hihats to arps and so on
I have sidechained synths to synths before also

I would definitely agree with lysol that Cthulhu is great for generating arps and it's very easy to manipulate once you spend a couple minutes with it.
