Dark Energy is a new sci-fi patch library for Omnisphere 2 that will help transport your music to other worlds. The library includes 304 Patches, 25 Multis, and 156 original Soundsources. It's got lots of dark Soundscapes, some energetic BPM Patches, some unique Impacts, and lots of out of this world Pads.


Like my other Omnisphere libraries, the mod wheel is key in Dark Energy for adding tension, intensity, layering and swell for each patch. This really lends itself well to scoring with the library in real time. User CC transforms each and every Soundscape and Pad into a tempo-synched rhythmic patch. User CC dials in additional FX for all other patches.

The original Soundsources used for the library were specifically created for Dark Energy. They are unique to say the least, and they will make great building blocks for creating your own strange and unique patches.

Also available is the Tension Bundle for Omnisphere 2. This bundle packs three Omnisphere libraries into one collection: Tension Builder, Afraid of the Dark, and the newly released Dark Energy. The bundle includes nearly 700 Patches, 80 Multis, and over 300 original Soundsources filled with tension, terror, intensity, and the dark mysteries of strange new worlds.
