Hi
Simple question here, because there will be very likely no version of Audiosculpt that might be functional under big sur and M1 processor
Is there a time stretch application in the market that can rival in quality and accuracy with the one included in audiosculpt in 2021 ?

well... ok...i assume this because the current version isn't compatible from 10.14 anymore and for instance, Diphone Studio, a very interesting audio application, has been discontinued from the move to intel mac
but indeed, i can be wrong concerning audiosculpt

currently apart from Audiosculpt, i own time factory 2 and izotope radius included into RX6
all AFAIK aren't brand new application so is there other ones more recent in the market ?

Yes, Ircam TS2. It uses the same Super VP kernel and is the planned successor to Audiosculpt.Krakatau wrote: Fri May 28, 2021 3:02 pmIs there a time stretch application in the market that can rival in quality and accuracy with the one included in audiosculpt in 2021 ?

TS2 began as a timestretch app, but they are developing it into a multitrack editor to be as complete a successor to Audiosculpt as they are able:

(FYI, MuLab has the best timestretch in a DAW, quite close to TS2, and it has a unique audio sequencer)

Ha, dunno... I didn't feel it. ZTX is a very interesting contender not many seem to even talk about (it's used in Digital Performer).Michael L wrote: Sat May 29, 2021 1:24 pm(FYI, MuLab has the best timestretch in a DAW, quite close to TS2, and it has a unique audio sequencer)

let me notice that ZTX is also included into the Prosoniq/Zynaptiq time factory 2 application

If I may ask a question in general about this:
Can it optionally warp/mangle, or is T.S. just T.S.?
