Recommend software for Mastering Techno

Hi Guys i'm new here, I use Cubase 10.5 for Techno production and Adobe Audition CS6 for mastering, but I think it's time to try something new or "more professional" what software you think I should try to master Techno tracks?

You already have enough. Are you talking about plug-ins? No point in buying more stuff outside of that, and I don't see a point in using Audition over Cubase for mastering...

I don't know if Techno has any specific needs in what concerns mastering, but the best for me is Wavelab. And a few plug-ins to complement it, of course.

+1 for Wavelab. Easy enough to start with Elements and work up from there. I feel it also does a reasonably good job of teaching about the mastering process -between the layout of the app and the workflow videos that Steinberg have published on YT...

I never liked Wavelab, I decided for Acon Acoustica, one of my best purchases ever… It does all what the Izotope Ozone and RX suite does but for an affordable price… It can even unmix now… And beside being an audio editor, it delivers all those tools as plugins as well…

Although I have to confess my preference for Wavelab, I know and have Acoustica also, and I can subscribe everything in what concerns it. It's just that Wavelab has some extra tools (like very powerful loop editing features) that lack in Acoustica.

Beware I'm not talking about "audio loops" but rather that kind of sample looping that allows you to use sounds in a sampler without anyone realyzing thay are looped).

What are your "more professional" requirements in detail?

Though I do have Wavelabe Lite, I wouldn't use it, because I could do everything I need, for example, in Cubase. But of course, I'm just a hobbyist, so all I need is a way to play a stereo audio track combined with a capable VST host.

Or are you talking about the classical mastering steps for a whole album?

Professional are not the tools but the ears. If you got them, you will know what tools fit to satisfy your ears. I did mastering in the early millennium, professional, as I got paid for it, and the clients where happy.
But still, when I had the honor to attend a mastering session for a record I was involved in, just watching this guy finding resonances of our live recording and tweaking very expensive outboard gear to get the tiny details out, I thought, there is always a level higher possible and there is so much more to learn.
The main advantage of giving that last step to different ears is, that its different ears. Better let someone not specialized in your preferred style do it. It would open up your horizon. If you produce techno, you are professional if you pay other professionals for some specialized tasks, or in other words, if you know your limits…
A professional will be able to work with the tools you have already…
If you are able to sell your tracks and the crowd is dancing, you are a professional, even if it doesn’t pay for your complete living…
