What does the workflow for RealiDrums look like compared to Addictive Drums 2 or EZDrummer?

I'm looking to get a drum plugin and trying to wrap my head around it would actually work for someone who doesn't play drums (unless Rock Band counts).

I played around a bit with the Addictive Drums trial and I see how you'd select what're looking for in terms of beat in the grid search and then try out the matching midi loops to find what you're looking for and drag each loop into your DAW. AD2 automatically syncs every loop to your tempo, but it's on you to find the appropriate loop as far as verse, chorus, fill, etc.

EZDrummer has the tap-to-find feature where you tap in a beat and you get a list of matching midi loops and you again find what you're looking for. It also has the song composer where you can drag in the loop and it'll suggest similar loops for verse, chorus, fills, etc, so you can pick from the related options and quickly assemble a song that way.

It looks like MT PowerDrumKit has a similar song composer and loop organization structure to EZDrummer.

RealiDrums eliminates all the searching and auditioning midi loops, you just pick the pattern preset you want and tweak how simple or complex you want it to be . I really like that aspect. But then how do you do a different pattern for the chorus, or fills? Let's say you found a pattern you like for the verse, do you then just manually change the pattern to something you'd want for the chorus? Do you just add the fills yourself by clicking on one of the fill keys and copy and paste each part in?

Is that about right for how one would use these, or am I way off?
