Hi,
I would like to sell the following Amplesound VSTs:
1. AGL
2. AGT with AGT extension
This will be the first time I have ever sold VSTs. My main query is that I'm not sure what price should I be offering. Is there a normal rule of thumb for this?
Cheers,
James

Search for it in the buy/sell forum to see how much other people charged for it in the past.
You can start with any price, and lower it along the way when you bump your post if you see you have no inquiries.

No strict rules there. FWIW, my advice is, sell at a price you would probably buy (“used”) at, yourself.
Other than that, for hardware and stuff, I’ll typically aim for somewhere around 2/3 of brand new ... depending. For software, generally close to that. But I’ve seen anything from 1/2 or lower up to 3/4 or higher. So eh, whatever works for you.
In other words, if you want to sell quickly, price it lower, and so on. Pretty obvious perhaps, sure, but it seems not everyone has realised this. As in, what time frame do you have in mind for it to actually sell, etc.
And lastly, make sure you can sell them legally, see if there are any fees or other complications involved, and decide whether you will cover PayPal fees, or pass them on.
