Anyone ever tried to compare these two? Especially the voice de-noise feature in Elements against Brusfri's algorithm. Can you share your experience with these plugins? I'll also leave a poll for statistics purposes.

You can download the demos for both and see which works better for your use case!

I snagged RX Elements for $9, a very useful tool.
I've been trying different microphones on various amps.
Below is a Behringer C2 small diaphragm condenser on a noisy (power tubes?) Carlsbro TC 60 combo. There's a 50Hz hum, I added RX Elements to try to remove it, which worked really well.
I toggled RX on and off to the hear the difference.
Mic test
I suppose similar could have been achieved with Melda's free MEqualiser using the harmonic overtone function.

Thanks for the mic test. It sounded a bit cleaner. Have you tried to demo Brusfri?

I have RX standard and Brusfri and use both - there are some signals that Brusfri does better than RX and quite a few people have said similar. Not sure what the quality of the Elements is, but at $9 I imagine it is a no brainer. But if Brusfri is on special then that also sis worth getting as well.

Thank you for this! I can actually get Brusfri with 60% off due to student discount. I'll make sure to add it to my collection.

No, I've also used the RX de-clicker on vocals to good effect. Better recording techniques before correction.4amdisaster wrote: Sat Jul 10, 2021 5:25 am Thanks for the mic test. It sounded a bit cleaner. Have you tried to demo Brusfri?
Real situations. A witness talks about the 1934 capture of John Dillinger with poorly recorded audio.

I hope someone restores this.

I actually already have RX 8 Elements right now. But I'll still give Bertom a try. Thanks!
