I had this back in the Mac PPC days when it was an SSL freebie, but it never made it past the PPC to Intel transition. Geat to have it back!

Key Features
• Modelled on the legendary SSL 4000E console
• Fixed attack and release curves
• External sidechain
• SSL high and low pass filters
• Simple to use, just dial in the AMOUNT
• 'SCOOP' phase inverts the wet signal
• 'SPLIT': engages bandpass subtraction mode
• Combine 'SCOOP' and 'SPLIT' for creative variations
• Subtle changes to destroying and deconstructing the signal
• Smash EVERYTHING (back to the '80s)

Intro price is $29.99...

(iLok - let's not have another copy protection rant, it's just how it is with all the SSL stuff...)

So good! And $29.99 intro price :)

No brainer!

Perfect. I was after one of these and the only decent one I saw was Korneff which I nearly bought but it can't be registered to software iLok, only dongle or Cloud. This wins for using computer-based iLok and being SSL!

- Input and Output meters added.
- +/-20dB Input and Ouput Trim added.

Good to know they listen - I kept banging on about it on their Facebook page, turned a bit ugly with one user, but Korneff was cool. Maybe I'll buy it in a Black Friday sale, but I've gone with the SSL.

SSL changed their user account system and it sounds like purchases made previously are no longer accounted for (but still in your iLok I guess). But I don't know for sure because I can't get into my account - have to reset your password and still hours later no email has arrived.

I guess SSL don't want my money... :)

Your guide to the new SSL account portal

We have upgraded our accounts system!

If you previously had an SSL account and are unable to log in, please reset your password here. Even if you had an account before we upgraded to the new system, you may need to create a new one.

If you own a Duality, AWS, Matrix, Nucleus, Sigma or Live Console, and wish to register your product, please login, and change your password if prompted to do so. Registering your product is no longer a requirement to access software. See this FAQ.

Related FAQ: Where can I find my previously purchased plug-ins?

If you own an SSL 2/2+ UF8 or UC1 and you registered these devices, simply login.

All the accounts in the Registration portal are used to login to the new SSL Web Store!

I didn't have an old account but i read on GS you have to re-register, make a new account.
the current 'password reset' is for the new accounts, NOT the old one so nothing arrives.
something like that... :?

Your previous plug-in purchases are held in your iLok account and on a database in our Service department. They have not disappeared. We’ve rolled out a new we shop/backend portal which will allow us to be a lot more flexible in what we can offer you.

Previous hardware registrations are also held in the service database, but if you wish to re-register them in the new portal then you’ll need your serial numbers.

Just re-register, and purchase. Everything is fine…

OK, so I made a new account and now "You currently have no purchased software products registered to your account."

SSL don't know I exist. Usually developers transfer customer records over to a new system but oh well - clean slate it is

You can't register software anymore - have a look...

But hey it's OK, the plugins (X-Comp / X-Saturator / X-ValveComp and Native Essentials Bundle) are still in my iLok account and I kept PDF receipts of the purchases so whatever. Just expected a bit more customer care from a top company like SSL.

The sun will surely rise tomorrow
