FR - Audio parts vs midi parts vs audio tracks

Here are two things I noticed, and that I can't find in the FR thread:

1. Tempo, independent of the synchronizer, should be possible to set in the audio part (and in all other tempo dependent components as well). Of course, the audio part should still be able to sync to the synchronizer. This FR exists for the midi part, but apparently not for the audio part.

2. There is a FR on the list saying: "make the Audio Part work in the same way as the Midi Part (with all the live recording/playing/looping etc. features)". I just want to make sure that this goes for as many features as possible (the existing FR goes mostly for live functionality). The audio part and the midi part should be a lot more alike than they are currently. For example:

- It is possible to set/remove loops in the midi part but not in the audio part. Looping is implicit and cannot be affected in the audio part. It would be better if looping in audio parts would work just as in midi parts.

- If a waveform crosses the end point of a loop in the audio part, the waveform keeps on playing. When this happens in an audio track, in the sequencer, the sound of the waveform is cut. This feels like the "right" way of doing it (at least, it should be possible to do it this way in the audio part too).

Makes sense?
