I am looking for the orchestra hit samples from Uvi's Darklight iix sampler (a replica of Fairlight).
I don't have it and I don't know how many versions of the orch hit they have included in there.
Just need the individual notes d4 and d5 sampled from the orchestra hit sounds.

It's just for learning purposes for a special thing I'd like to try. Thanks for someone who could be so kind as to post them here.

It will be against the EULA to post exposed samples I'm afraid, which will, by extension, be against KVR rules.

OK, in that case what I really need is just to know what they actually sound like if you hit those exact notes, that's really all. I got so many orch hit sounds myself so one of mine will almost for sure be the very same and I could take mine, no prob, if only I knew which one to take.
Someone was referring to the ones from Darklight stating that he hit note D4 and D5, but he won't or can't answer atm when I asked back about that so now I'm left in the dark what exact sounds he was referring to then. These sounds are always more or less named differently in different plugins - that's the problem with the orch hit sounds! The Arturia orch 4 sound might be orch 2 or 3 in Darklight. (?) If I hit d3 in Arturia for orch4 I get a different sound from d4 and d5 and that is not just in pitch but it's a completely different, arbitrarily chosen orch hit sound all mixed into one patch...

Could also be in a real short and bad quality video recording. Don't care. This then should be possible, or why do they make youtube vids where they show how all kinds of samples from plugins sound like - all the time? Couldn't imagine that such a video which shows how 2 notes sound like would be a big issue or else they couldn't record any tutorials any more (?) but I don't know cause I'm not a lawyer or something...

The purpose is private and just to learn some stuff in sound design.

d4: "Tschuuuummmmmhhhh"

d5: "Tschüüüümmmbäschüüümmmmhhh"

That's what they sound like! :D

So d4 in Darklight also sounds completely different from d5? :o
That's already a good first hint. :tu:
Thanks for this very first information about the sound qualities.
Then the guy was referring to mixing together actually 2 different hit samples which are effectively different ones in sound quality. Interesting starting point to know.

:D

I can close this thread now. It's been clarified in a different thread.
