Is there a difference between the Download Access Code and the Cubase activation code. If I do the above process but don't activate the Cubase activation code will I still be able to register 11 when 11.5 is registered? The first step in the Steinberg activation process is to register the Download Access Code which you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer. You first will need to create an account with Steinberg, so follow these steps to register your Steinberg download access code.
Log in or create your Steinberg account here.
Once logged in, click the Enter Download Access Code button, enter the Download Access Code, and then click Continue.
Check your email inbox for a message from Steinberg. Included in the message will be your Cubase activation code. Save this email, as you will need the code in order to complete the activation process.

I bought the upgrade for Cubase 10.5 to 11. I was going to wait until 11.5 drops to register it. But the Sweetwater page says:
Intel Core i7 8700K, 16gb, Windows 10 Pro, Focusrite Scarlet 6i6

It's different. Access Code is a code to get your Activation Code

Did you try to buy it from the Steinberg site first? Just curious because your tag says you're from Australia.morelia wrote: Sun Jul 04, 2021 7:00 am I bought the upgrade for Cubase 10.5 to 11. I was going to wait until 11.5 drops to register it. But the Sweetwater page says:

you can hold onto the activation as long as you like, but lose it somehow and you may be SOL (I had a computer stolen with an unactivated Cubase, there was no recovery from it)
