transfuser 2fx exists as a plugin I can load into the channel mixer
I'm reverse engineering the samples inside my daw (fl studio) and one of the things I'm missing for one of the beats is maximizer and reverb. Is there a way I can apply transfuser 2 as an effect in my channel mixer?
When I drag it into my channel mixer, it cuts off all audio until I remove it (I can get the metronome to play or beats I load inside transfuser to play, but I'd like to simply use it for effects).

Transfuser would need an audio input to do that.
But why don’t you use a maximizer and a reverb from you DAW or plugin collection? There are tons of high quality free ones even. Your attempt seems over complicated…

If you look at the picture, I did attempt just that but it didn't sound right.
I'm not looking for workarounds.
Transfuser supports being used as an effect (hence transfuser fx plugin).
There are other effects that transfuser has that I don't have in my daw.
It's easier to use transfuser effects with it's preset configurations as is than try to find a 1:1 guess/match between transfuser and my daw along with trying to fine tune / match / translate settings between them.
Question basically is. How do I use transfuser as an effects plugin in my channel rack. Is that supported? How does one use the "transfuser fx" plugin in a daw as an effects vst (applied to a current track)?

You should have two DLL's of Transfuser. One is called Transfuser_x64 and the other is called TransfuserFX_x64.
So if you load up the Fx version it should work.
EDIT: You also need to load in the module called Def Audio In. You can find it in the Transfuser browser on the left.

The problem is it makes my daw's audio go silent. I'm not sure how to link it to the daw's track/channel properly. Is there something I need to do inside transfuser fx to link it to the daw's channel?

See my edited post above. You propably just need to load in the module called Def Audio In.
Then you have a place to load in the effects.

what about ser and par? I notice a more pronounced sound when I choose par

Ser Is short for Serial and Par is short for Parellel.
