Sytrus VSTi doesnt load the correct presets?

hey gus, i reloaded some old projects and used also sytrus as vsti in fl studio, and when the projects are loaded sytrus doesnt recall the presetsettings and plays always the same string sound in all channels. anyone got an idea? thx

when i create a new project with few instances of sytrus and sae different presets it works recalling it.... strange.

My guess is that the older projects are using an older version of Sytrus. And when FL loads the project, besides recalling the plugin state, it's also trying to recall the index into the preset list. And perhaps in doing so, if the newer version of the plugin cannot use the same index, it just goes to the default preset (at index 0, or whatever).

I wonder also if the preset folder location on your HD changed between Sytrus versions, so the older version can't find the preset folder, hence the index issue.

I would think that this has happened before and probably discussed on the FL Studio forums.

Basically, describes the old/new plugin version problem. OP resolved by going back to the older version of the plugin.

oh man, i never saw this reply and just reloaded my old projects and continue my work to reload all older projects to re-save etc. for future proof and hope this will help!
